Oman is located at a place, where all the stars live and the dolphins play, where the beach is clean and fresh and where you find yourself in paradise.

Oman has good sea conditions with an average visibility of 20-30 meter’s. There are many superb sites around the capital area, including Cemetery Bay, Fahal Island Bandar Khayran and Daymaniyat Islands.

With over 1,700 km of coastline it is hardly surprising that Oman offers some wonderful stretches of sandy beaches .Oman’s coastline is characterized by many inlets and sheltered bays, some of which are big enough for groups. Many of the inlets guide you to isolated beaches which make a great picnic spot.

Sindbad, from the legendary tales of The Arabian Nights, is said to be from the Omani village Sohar. And it is said that Sinbad’s tale is based on reality. In 1980, a team replicated an 8th century Arab dhow made of coconut strings (named “Sohar”), and used medieval navigational instruments to prove that it was possible for Sindbad to have sailed from Oman to China
